Modular Design

We have designed all our moulding lines, stand-alone depositors and devices to be modular to allow either building a complete line in steps, to upgrade existing lines or even to change the entire production ranges by adding additional machinery in the open architecture of our system. The machines may be moved around not only in layout-concepts, same as lego-bricks, they may also be repositioned for new product ideas. All machines are intelligent units and are linked together in a network, allowing plug and play of new equipment.

The moulds travel loose and free of any chain from process-step to process-step. The
cooling is done in our patented cooling-spirals, again free of any attachment. This
allows the use of different mould-materials in one line (polycarbonate moulds,
vacuum-formed blisters, frames, etc.).

The mould-detection system reads codes for identification and initiates product
specific actions for each process-step. This way it is also possible to run a mixture of different mould-sets in one circuit.
